More than passion
Sex sells. In this day and age, this has become a hot topic especially to the
young. Gone are the days when talking about sex was forbidden. Nowadays, young
people have become more open and receptive to this topic. Has the youth of
today has forgotten responsible parenthood?
Intersect, the quarterly magazine of the John J. Carroll Institute on Church
and Social Issues (JJCICSI) in its latest issue, Regenerating Culture,
presents a look at todays youth in the context of their sexuality.
Titled More than Passion, the article tackles how the youth of today
perceive sex and factors that form their minds about. The article also
highlights the importance of proper sex education and how it is part of
responsible parenthood. Other articles featured in this issue deal with the
regeneration of Filipino culture, human rights, Philippine environment,
heroism of the Filipino youth, diaspora philanthrophy and microfinance.
How can we teach the youth of today to become responsible parents tomorrow?
