A country, lacking not in leaders,
But wanting in TRUE LEADERSHIP --
Selfless, Responsible and Generative.

A school, lacking not in potential,
But in search of true EXEMPLARS of SERVICE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT --
Purposeful, Deliberate and Significant.

THE LOYOLA SCHOOLS AWARDS FOR LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE acknowledges and
gives distinction to the efforts of students of the Ateneo de Manila
University Loyola Schools in the area of Positive Leadership -- that
which is in the service of others, purposeful and empowering, engaging
the community and nurturing hope. Exhibited by individuals and groups
in various projects and activities, these models are recognized and
celebrated that they may further inspire and influence.

THE MOST OUTSTANDING PROJECT is awarded to a service-oriented project
mounted by an individual student or a student group effecting significant
positive changes within its sphere of influence.

THE MOST OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL is given to a college student who has
demonstrated exemplary involvement in non-academic groups or activities,
actualizing a resolve to engage and positively contribute to the larger
community within and beyond the Ateneo.

THE MOST OUTSTANDING STUDENT GROUP is awarded to any group or
organization, whether formal or informal, that exemplifies excellence in
thoughtfully organized projects and activities that have successfully
and/or continuously contributed to the development of the larger
community within which it exists or works, while resulting in a greater
sense of civic responsibility among its members, significantly
contributing to their formation as "leaders in society".
