The Ateneo CORD Trenwatcher Series: Partnering for H.R.

The Ateneo CORD Trendwatcher Series presents “Partnering for H.R.”

Great organizations require great people management. But this can only be possible when HR practitioners and line managers are partners in ensuring effective human resource management. How open and competent are managers to perform HR functions? Which HR functions are typically devolved to the line? How can organizations strengthen the HR-Line partnership? Find out from this learning session!

This session conducted by the Ateneo Center for Organization Research and Development (CORD) will feature:
· Dr. Regina M. Hechanova, Research Director of Ateneo CORD who will present a study on the openness, competency, and involvement of managers with regards to HR.
 · Ms. Buena V. Chanco, SVP for HR of International Exchange Bank who will talk about their efforts to partner with their managers.
The Trendwatcher Series: Partnering for H.R. will be held on 14 June 2006, from 1:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon at the Ballroom 2, Renaissance Makati City Hotel.
