Unleashing the potential of small things

Often, small things seem insignificant and are taken for granted. They are
considered trivial, almost non-existent. But sometimes it is really the small,
ordinary things that matter.

This quarter, Intersect, the quarterly magazine of the Institute on Church and
Social Issues, highlights the importance of these seemingly insignificant
things. Titled “A New Day,” the issue features the article, “Making Small
Things Matter,” which discusses how benefits will outweigh costs if small
projects were put together to help mitigate the effects of climate change.
Another article titled “Unleashing the Coco Potential,” talks about the
various potentials of the coconut tree and how these potentials can be put to
good use for the welfare of the farmers who depend on it for their
livelihood.
