The Organizing Committee of the Theilhard_Asia_2006 Conference cordially
invites faculty and students of the Ateneo de Manila University to attend
and participate in the international conference entitled:

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and his Significance for a Planetary Ethics and
Creation Spirituality

This conference will be held from August 31 --September 3, 2006 at Escaler
Hall and Loyola School of Theology. You may visit the website at:

This conference is sponsored by the Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola
School of Theology, and GeoChris Institute of Ecozoic Spirituality on the
occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Teilhard de Chardin and
Creation Day 2006.

The conference will feature the following main speakers:
Sr. Kathleen Duffy, SSJ, President, Metanexus Institute, PA, USA
Dr. Ursula King, professor emeritus, Bristol, UK
Fr. Henry Boulad, SJ, Egypt
Fr. Jose Mario Francisco, SJ, President, Loyola School of Theology
Ms. Jennifer Morgan, Princeton, NJ, USA

The conference will also discuss the following topics in parallel workshop
sessions:
•	The Philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin
•	The Influence of Teilhard's thinking on the Natural Sciences and the
Science and Religion Dialogue
•	Creation Spiritualities and Planetary Ethics
•	Inter-religious & Inter-cultural Dialogue

Registration fee: PhP3,000. Please submit your registration form and
