STAND UP FOR LOVE aims to raise funds for the various educational
programs of the Gawad Kalinga Prayer Mountain community. Started in
1999, Prayer Mountain is a community of squatter families situated on a
65,792 square meter hilly village among the mountains of the Sierra
Madre Mountain Range. Majority of its residents were unskilled laborers
without proper education suffering from unemployment. With the
assistance of Gawad Kalinga, Prayer Mountain was able to build a strong
community organization called KAPITBAHAYAN which mobilized a team of
caretakers committed in achieving the vision of a new Prayer Mountain.

STAND UP FOR LOVE features HANGAD, a group of students and young
professionals under the Jesuit Music Ministry. Hangad has released four
albums under the Jesuit Music Ministry: Hangad (2000), Hangad Acapella!
(2002), Pasko Naming Hangad (2002) and The Easter Journey (2005) which
was nominated for two Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) in 2005.
Hangad's music videos are aired regularly over the various local
channels and internationally through The Filipino Channel (TFC). To
