SJSA is a national network of Jesuit-initiated or partner social institutes. 
These social centers are grouped in clusters according to their area of work. 
The clusters are: (1) Research, Training and Advocacy cluster, (2) Community 
Organization and Development cluster, and (3) Student Social Formation 
cluster. These clusters meet separately and as an assembly to share new 
programs and technologies, hold workshops on selected topics, discuss common 
organizational issues, and plan for future activities.

SJSA is now accepting applications for the position of EXECUTIVE SECRETARY.


•	Overall supervision of SJSA programs and projects
•	Conceptualizes/writes the following:
o	Program/project rationale, objectives and activities
o	Manuals/modules on leadership, citizenship and social analysis (in 
consultation with the members)
o	Compendium of members
o	Instruments/format for survey, mapping, consolidation of 
materials/research outputs, training materials/attended, resource directories
o	Annual Secretariat Report 
o	Newsletter concept; oversees production
o	Develops project proposals
•	Facilitates cluster meetings, colloquium, training
•	Acts as resource person on such topics as leadership, citizenship and 
political education
•	Organizes venue for dialogue among members
•	Facilitates strategic assessment of members
•	Facilitates annual visit/one-on-one meeting with the members 
•	Performs administrative functions, e.g., hiring and evaluation of staff
•	Participates in conferences, training and issue discussions to promote 
and enhance social apostolate work
•	Acts as the Metro Manila Coordinator for the EHEM! Project (An Anti-
Corruption Project of the Society of Jesus) 

•	Masters Degree in Economics, Psychology, Sociology or any relevant 
•	Strong commitment to the development of the marginalized.
•	Innovative, creative and has commitment to meet deadlines 
•	Has the ability to do coordination, training, facilitation and 
networking work 
•	Excellent analytical, writing and oral skills
•	Excellent interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills
•	Knowledge in Microsoft, EXCEL, Powerpoint, Photo-shop, etc.

•	Curriculum vitae with 2x2 recent picture
•	Two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which should come from a 
former or present employer 
•	Copy of official transcript of records
