Watch and Pray Rally
Last December 17, 2006 (Sunday) Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan joined the inter-faith rally with the theme "Watch and Pray: Magmalasakit Para sa Bayan" to call for continued vigilance and action against groups and individuals with self-serving interests who wanted to change the constitution for private ends. Right now, the bid to revise the charter through a constituent assembly has been shelved by the House of Representatives. We have won the first part of the battle against Con-Ass but the danger still lurks and the crisis that we are into is still far from over. Let us keep the momentum to be united and vigilant in defending our democracy.
Patuloy pa rin tayong Magbantay, Manalangin, at Magmalasakit para sa Bayan.
