CALL FOR PAPERS: LOYOLA SCHOOLS REVIEW (HUMANITIES EDITION)

The Loyola Schools Review (Humanities Edition), a refereed journal, is now
accepting papers for publication in the 2007 issue. Faculty members of the
Loyola Schools are invited to submit works that have not been published
before. Graduate students of the Loyola Schools may also submit works
based on theses or dissertations.

The Loyola Schools Review is a refereed journal. Each contribution is
evaluated by at least two experts. Contributors will be informed of the
outcome of the evaluation within a month after submission.

Essays must not exceed 30 pages, double-spaced, 12 points Times New Roman,
on letter-size paper (8.5 x 11 inches), excluding bibliography, and must
follow the Turabian format (footnotes). Page numbers must be indicated on
the upper right corner.

Graduate student contributors must attach a note from his or her thesis or
dissertation supervisor certifying that the work is based on a thesis or
dissertation.

Contributions must be submitted in both hard and soft copies. Three hard
copies must be placed in a brown envelop, thereafter sealed, and sent to:

The author's name must NOT appear in any part of the essay or the brown
envelope. The name of the author, the title of the essay, and the date of
submission must be printed separately, placed in a business envelop, and
submitted along with the hard copies in the brown envelop.

A soft copy in Word format may be submitted on a diskette or CD along with
the hard copies, or else sent via e-mail to:

The deadline for submission is on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Submissions
after the deadline may still be considered for the 2007 edition if there
is still space. Otherwise, if accepted, they will be included in the 2008
edition.
