A friendly reminder to all CLCs, Partners and Friends:
The Christian Life Community Formation Institute invites you to the
third session of Called to Shepherd: A Group Guides' Basic Training
Program entitled "Christian Ethics and Morality" on Sunday, December 4,
from 8 am - 5 pm at the Leunis Hall, CLC Center, G/F Seminary Drive,
Ateneo de Manila University. This session will be facilitated by Maria
Eloisa Francisco-Rivera, the Director of the Office for Social Concern
and Involvement (OSCI) of the Ateneo de Manila University. This will be
followed by several sessions until April 2006 to help existing and
prospective group guides develop the knowledge and skills necessary in
guiding CLCs. This could also be a good way for CLC members to grow in
our understanding of the Christian faith. 
The working schedule this Sunday is as follows:
8:00 - 8:15 am Registration / Opening Prayer / Introductions
8:15 - 10:00 am             Session 1: What is Conscience? 
10:00 - 10:20 am           Break
10:20 - 12:00 nn            Session 2: What is a Christian Conscience?
12:00 - 1:00 pm             Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 pm              Session 3: Christian Discipleship / Forming
a Christian Conscience
2:30 - 2:50 pm              Break
2:50 - 4:00 pm              Session 4: Steps in forming a Christian
4:00 - 5:00 pm              Eucharist (Presided by Fr. Daniel McNamara,
The cost of the session is P500 for non-CLC and P400 for CLC members. A
special discounted rate will be given to existing guides who wish to
refresh their skills and knowledge. The session fee includes materials,
lunch and 2 snacks.
To those who have not yet registered, please call the office ASAP at
4260074-75 so that we can ensure that you will be included in the order
for lunch and snacks.
