The East-West Center, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an internationally
recognized organization established by the U.S. Congress to strengthen the
understanding and relations between the peoples of the U.S., Asia, and the
Pacific through cooperative, study, training, and research.

The East-West Center Asia-Pacific Leadership Program

The Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) is the center of excellence for
leadership education in the Asia Pacific Region. The APLP is a graduate
certificate program combining the development of regional expertise with the
enhancement of individual leadership capacity. The APLP empowers future
leaders with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and supportive community
needed to succesfully navigate personal and regional change in the 21st
century. The interdisciplinary curriculum equips participants to become
agents of change in Asia and the Pacific with an emphasis on applied
experiential learning and the development of an alumni network that spans
the region.
