Everyone is invited to join the University Stations of the Cross on
February 24, 2005. Assembly time is at 4:00pm at Xavier Hall. At
4:30pm, we shall process through the college and end at the Church of the
Gesu with a celebration of the Eucharist. The presider and homilist will
be Fr. Daniel Huang, SJ, Jesuit Provincial.

Many years ago, Ateneans, before marching on to the stage to receive their
diplomas, would march through the Stations of the Cross. More than just a
Lenten devotion, it was a sign that as they went "down from the hill",
they were ready to walk with Christ and carry His cross.

Two years ago, the university revived this old Ateneo tradition to include
the different units and offices in the university. It has become an
opportunity for all of us to come together to pray for the needs of our
country and the world.

This year, the following communities will sponsor each station:

The First Station Central Admi, Ateneo Alumni
The Second Station Professional Schools/LS Admin/ASPAC
The Third Station School Social Sciences
The Fourth Station School of Humanities
The Fifth Station School of Science and Engineering
The Sixth Station JG School of Management
The Seventh Station Grade School, AGSPAC
The Eight Station Loyola House, Arrupe Intl Residence, JESCOM
The Ninth Station San Jose Seminary, Manila Observatory
	The Tenth Station PPLM, Security
The Eleventh Station High School, PUSH
	The Twelfth EAPI, Jesuit Residence
	The Thirteenth Station	Cervini-Eliazo, OMIOD
The Fourteenth Station	Auxi, Social Development

Lent means, "spring". As we all gather together as a university family,
let us pray for a world in suffering and ask God to heal and renew all of
us.

Let us walk with the Risen Lord who labors and suffers with us.
