The AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE FOR HIGHER EDUCATION in cooperation with the UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA cordially invites you to attend the fifth seminar in our lecture series, entitled "Innovation Techniques - Lessons from High Tech and Fast Growth Industries".
The seminar will be conducted by Mr. Simon Glass, a professor from the Graduate School of Management of the University of Western Australia. Simon lectures in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Strategic Management in the University's Master of Business Administration program in Perth and Manila and also specializes in venture capital research.
Simon holds an MBA Degree from Cambridge University and was trained in Corporate Finance at the London Business School. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, having worked for several high profile and prestigious companies abroad, including Apax Partners, Amadeus Capital Partners and Ernst and Young.
He spearheaded the 'Globalization and Recession in Venture Capital' project for 'the Center for International Business & Management' at Cambridge University and has continually contributed research papers and articles to the Financial Times.
As a practitioner too in the field of media and entertainment, Simon has generated millions of dollars (US) for box offices in 40 countries, worldwide.
Simon currently teaches Strategic Management to students in the MBA program in Manila and has experience in running the UWA Business Plan Competition.
