To solve this problem, the assistance of the Ateneo Schools Parents Council (ASPAC) through Mr. Diego E. Poblete, Jr. President and Mr. Edward Rex Velez, Chairman of the Security Committee has been sought. They will ask the parents to remind their children to lock their cars while parked.

TRAFFIC: Noon traffic this week will be heavy due to the early dismissal of the Grade School during exam week. Traffic in Katipunan and Aurora Boulevard tomorrow Thursday, 11 August might be heavier than usual due to the Feast of Sta. Clara.

Tricycles: Starting Monday, 15 August, tricycles will not be allowed to traverse the northbound lane of Katipunan from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tricycles will be allowed only on the West side of Katipunan on the service road. There will be tricycles on campus to serve the community within the campus.

The restriction is in response to the increasing number of accidents involving tricycles along Katipunan. It is a joint project of the Quezon City government and the MMDA after consultation with the Barangay, school units and constituents of Loyola Heights.

Garden Snake: Gate 3 guards caught a snake behind the guardhouse at 2:00 a.m. last Sunday, 7 August. The meter-long snake has been identified by the Biology Department as a harmless garden snake. They are found in the area between Gate 2 and Gate 3.

Students frequenting the wooded areas at night cautioned to be on the lookout for these snakes even if they are harmless. Being surprised by these snakes can spoil a romantic walk in the area.
