ANI (Alay ni  Ignacio), will be holding a five-part talk on youth
volunteerism and NGOs
entitled "Demystifying Volunteerism" on April 25-29, 2005 at the SEC
Lecture Hall 3, 4.30-6.00pm.

Part 1: April 25, 2005
"The Who's Who and What's What"
- Showcases the efforts and causes of participating NGOs in the ABOT
KAMAY: An ANI-NGO Fair. Organizations included are Childhope Asia, Gawad
Kalinga, Haribon Foundation, Philippine National Volunteer Service
Coordinating Agency and many others.

Part 2: April 26, 2005
"The Return of the Volunteer"
- Filipinos who chose to serve outside their country share their
experiences in volunteerism in a foreign land.
- Speaker: Ms. French Vibar and fellow returned volunteers

Part 3: April 27, 2005
"Walking the Walk and Talking the Talk"
- Speakers Steph Limuaco of Gawad Kalinga and Joseph Eschevarria of ANI
show you exactly what it means to be a volunteer.

Part 4: April 28, 2005
"Raising Your Hand"
- Mr. Tim Gabuna, winner of the 2004 National Volunteer  Award, talks
about volunteerism and the changes it brings  to the Philippine society.

Part 5: April 29, 2005
"So What?"
- A discussion on the relevance and impact of NGOs in the Philippines and
how they affect on the sectors they dedicated themselves to.
Speaker: Mr. James Esguerra, Board Member, SIKAT (Samahan para sa
Ikauunlad ng Katutubong Agham at Teknolohiya)

Fair" on April 25, 9.30am at the Ateneo Science Education Complex field.
