Pathways to Higher Education (Pathways) is an education reform initiative by 
the Ateneo de Manila University, Synergeia Foundation and The Ford Foundation. 
Pathways aims to help marginalized students gain access to quality higher 
education by providing its participants with various support systems such as 
tutorials, self-enhancement workshops and linkages to possible scholarship 
grants/donors. Since its inception in April 2002, Pathways has helped 12 
students finish their college education and 180 students gain access to and 
enroll into top-notch colleges and universities. Currently, Pathways has 
offices in Marikina City, Baguio City, Bulacan and South Cotabato.

We are looking for a Project Officer for Education Development whose main 
tasks shall be to implement projects and activities that will help Pathways 
students enter college and eventually finish their college education. 
Furthermore, the position will also be in charge of monitoring and evaluating 
the progress of Pathways participants. Finally, the position will also entail 
the continuous development and improvement of learning materials that will be 
used during academic enhancement activities that will be implemented 
throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications for this position is as follows:

•	Must have a College Degree, preferably in the field of Social Sciences 
(e.g., Psychology, Communication Arts, Education, etc.)
•	Must have good communication skills and is a team player
•	Must be flexible and willing to travel
•	Must possess initiative and a sense of responsibility
•	Must be willing to learn
•	Prior experience in implementing outreach programs is an advantage
•	Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
