[Blueboard] Development Studies Students' Seminar Series 2004.3

The Development Studies Program cordially invites everyone to four more Development Studies Students' Seminar presentations:


Hilda Fatima Tantingco will be presenting a paper on The Impact of Resettlement on the Culture of the Pinatubo Aetas. Her presentation will be at the Development Studies Program Office on Friday, October 22 at 2:30 p.m. Dr. Liza Lim, Chair of the Sociology-Anthropology Department will serve as discussant.

Elaine Camille Pascua will be presenting a paper on The Impact of Microcredit on Women. Her paper compares women who are members of a credit cooperative with non-members in terms of material resources as well as relational power. Her presentation will be at the Development Studies Program Office on Friday, October 22 at 4:00 p.m. Mr. Vincent Rapisura, microfinance lecturer of the Development Studies Program will serve as discussant.

Tanya Mae Ilacad will be presenting a paper on Ateneo Students as a Target Market for an Earned Income Product. Earned Income Products are products sold by non-profit organizations to augment their income. Ms. Ilacad's presentation will be at the Development Studies Program Office on Saturday, October 23 at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Jerome Montemayor, development finance lecturer of the Development Studies Program will serve as discussant.

Alexander Gutierrez will be presenting a paper on A Profile of the Ateneo Student as a Donor. His presentation will be at the Development Studies Program Office on Saturday, October 23 at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Jerome Montemayor, development finance lecturer of the Development Studies Program will also serve as his discussant.


These presentations are part of a series of presentations by Development Studies students. We would like to ask interested parties to inform us of their attendance through ds at admu.edu.ph or at local 5218 (c/o Melissa Mar) so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
