The Ateneo School of Government (ASG) is searching for an Academic Program
Manager to start immediately.  The Scope of Work and Qualifications are as
follows:

SCOPE OF WORK:

The Academic Program Manager will be mainly responsible for the Master in Public
Management (MPM) program (customized and public offering) of the School.
Specifically, the manager will:

1.  Recommend to the Dean policies and strategies to:
    a. deliver the best quality education to students;
    b. attract, train, and guide faculty;
    c. market the academic program;
    d. attract and select good applicants; and
    e. constantly improve the course curriculum.
2.  Take the lead in program development and implementation.
3.  Formulate accurate program annual budget and implement the approved budget.
4.  Analyze available information to continually improve the academic program.
5.  Ensure that the School's approved academic policies, strategies, and
guidelines are implemented and enforced.
6.  Regularly monitor and evaluate the status of the program and development of
students.
7.  Feedback the results of such evaluation through written reports to the Dean,
the Quality Assurance Committee (QUAPC), the Curriculum Committee, and the
faculty and recommend necessary innovations.
8.  Prepare for and convene regular faculty meetings or as necessary.
9.  Create a student community among the batches.
10. Liaison with key stakeholders of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualifications for such position are as follows:

1.  A master's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or Social
Sciences program.
2.  At least three (3) years experience in managing a higher education
institution.
3.  Adequate knowledge and understanding of Philippine bureaucracy and
government.
4.  With adequate knowledge in CHED policies and guidelines.
5.  General managerial skills (human, finance, marketing, service delivery.)
6.  Technical skills in policy and system formulation and strategic planning.
7.  Committed to serve others.
