[Blueboard] East-West Center's Graduate Degree Fellowship Programs

    The East-West Center announces the availability of the  2005 Graduate Degree Studies Fellowships for individuals interested in participating in their educational and research programs while pursuing graduate degree study at the University of Hawaii.  Fellowships for both master's (24 months) and doctoral (48 months) degrees are available.

    Areas of Study:
        Security and Governance
        Environmental Change, Vulnerability and Governance
        Population and Health
        Pacific Islands Development

    In addition, the Center and the University of Hawaii offer the following graduate certificate programs:
        Leadership Studies
        International Cultural Studies
        Population Studies
        Resource Management

    General Requirements:  
        Applicants must also apply for admission to a graduate program of the University of Hawaii, if not currently enrolled as a classified graduate student.  Required tests include the TOEFL and the GRE or GMAT as required by university departments.

        Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States (US) citizens of countries in Asia and the Pacific including Russia.
        All award recipients who are not US citizens or permanent residents must meet all exchange visitor (J-visa) requirements.
