The Institute on Church and Social Issues

ICSI is an organization and community of researchers and advocates committed 
to faith that does justice, working in solidarity with the Church and 
responsive to the needs of the Filipino poor.  It undertakes professional 
research and publications premised on Catholic Social Teaching leading to 
systematic advocacy on issues affecting the urban poor, the children, the 
church and the environment.

ICSI is now accepting applications for 

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

•	College graduate 
•	Field research experience in terms of data gathering
•	Knows different stages of research
•	Good analytical skills
•	Knowledgeable in data processing
•	Familiar with SPSS

Duties Include:

•	Assisting the supervisor in overseeing the field interviewers, surveys 
and other monitoring activities
•	Conducting the community profile
•	Gathering other data not collected from the survey

Project Duration:

•	Four (4) months

Requirements:

•	Letter of application
•	Curriculum vitae
•	Two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which should be from a 
former or present employer
•	A copy of official transcript of records
