ICSI is an organization and community of researchers and advocates committed 
to faith that does justice, working in solidarity with the Church and 
responsive to the needs of the Filipino poor.  It undertakes professional 
research and publications premised on Catholic Social Teaching leading to 
systematic advocacy on issues affecting the urban poor, the children, the 
church and the environment. 
ICSI is now accepting applications for 


•	Assist Research Associates and Project Officers in data gathering, 
analysis, writing and   
            presentation of research findings.
•	Assist in the organization and documentation of ICSI-sponsored/led 
activities such as
            seminars, workshops, fora, etc. 
•	Assist in the organization and documentation of ICSI’s institutional 
activities such as
            business meetings, recollections, evaluation and planning.
•	Represent ICSI in various fora, network meetings, conferences etc. 
•	Write for Intersect magazine and newspaper columns

•	A graduate of any 4-year degree course preferably in Economics, 
Psychology, Sociology 
             or other related course.  
•	Research experience preferred but not necessary
•	Strong commitment to the development of the marginalized.
•	Willing to do fieldwork, innovative and able to meet deadlines 
•	Eager to work with people from various socio-politico-economic 
•	Good analytical, writing and oral skills
•	Good interpersonal and organizational skills
•	Knowledge in statistical software programs (SPSS etc.).
•	Knowledge in Microsoft, EXCEL, Powerpoint, Photo-shop, etc.

•	Letter of application
•	Curriculum vitae with 2X2 recent picture
•	Two (2) letters of recommendation, one of which should come from a  
former or present   
                      employer (except for fresh graduates)
•	A sample of applicant’s written work
•	Copy of official transcript of records
