[Blueboard] International MBA - National Cheng Kung University

  The Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in the Philippines is pleased to announce that the National Cheng Kung University has opened the International MBA program and other academic programs in the graduate and undergraduate levels to foreign students.

      Objectives of the MBA Program

        a.. Nurturing professional managers with analytical problem-solving skills that directly relate to critical business issues and strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
        b.. Broadening international perspectives through the interaction with diverse culture students from other countries and overseas learning.
        c.. Understanding the dynamics competition and information in technologies in order to have quick response to the turbulent environment.
        d.. Motivating students to behold the world as a leader and pioneer of the Asia-pacific region.

        a.. Total of 45 credit hours of course work (including core courses, professional elective courses, and seminar) and thesis for IMBA degree.
        b.. About 30-40% international students and 60-70% Taiwanese Nationals.
        c.. About 15 to 30% of the courses are lectured by foreign professors.
        d.. English as the major language through the program.
        e.. Interflow with domestic and international corporations.
        f.. Scholarships and assistantships is available.
        g.. Integrate the theory and practices.
        h.. Sufficient instruments and resources. 
        i.. Overseas field trips to international companies.
        j.. Visiting of the academic institution in Mainland China.

        a.. Hold a four-year bachelor's degree or the equivalent issued - before the academic year 2003-2004 - at least one year ago, from an accredited college or university to be considered for admission
        b.. Have good/excellent GMAT and TOEFL scores
        c.. Be in good health condition

      The IMBA Program begins in September 2004. The complete application for admission may be filed beginning February and must be filed no later than March 31, 2004.
