in Summer 2004.
CHINESE MANDARIN for Professionals


MODULE 1	
Basic Chinese Mandarin is a twenty-four hour intensive course for beginners.
The course focuses on practical conversation related to common situations in
everyday life. The course uses pinyin (romanization based on the International
Phonetic System) and introduced the simplified form of Chinese characters. This

course also exposes the students to some aspects of traditional Chinese
culture.

	April 24 - June 26  (Every Saturday)
	9:00 AM - 12:00 NN

MODULE 2	
This course is a continuation of Module 1 and may also be taken by those who
have some knowledge of Chinese Mandarin.

	1:00 - 4:00 PM

BASIC CHINESE MANDARIN for Children  (6 to 12 years old)

	Section A	For those without background in Chinese Mandarin
			May 3-24  (Monday to Friday)
			Time:  1:30-3:00 PM
			Ateneo de Manila University

	Section B	For those with background in Chinese Mandarin
                        (Refresher/Review Class)
			May 3-24  (Monday to Friday)
			Time:  1:30-3:00 PM
			Ateneo de Manila University
