The Ateneo de Manila University Chinese Studies Program offers
CHINESE MANDARIN classes for Professionals and Children
in Summer 2004.


CHINESE MANDARIN for Professionals

MODULE 1	Basic Chinese Mandarin is a twenty-four hour intensive 
		course for beginners. The course focuses on practical
		conversation related to common situations in everyday
		life. The course uses pinyin (romanization based on the
		International Phonetic System) and introduced the
		simplified form of Chinese characters. This course also
		exposes the students to some aspects of traditional
		Chinese culture.

		April 24 - June 26  (Every Saturday)
		9:00 AM - 12:00 NN
		Ateneo de Manila University

MODULE 2	This course is a continuation of Module 1 and may also be 
		taken by those who have some knowledge of Chinese
		Mandarin.

		April 24 - June 26  (Every Saturday)
		1:00 - 4:00 PM
		Ateneo de Manila University


BASIC CHINESE MANDARIN for Children  (6 to 12 years old)

	Section A	For those without background in Chinese Mandarin
			May 3-24  (Monday to Friday)
			Time:  1:30-3:00 PM
			Ateneo de Manila University

	Section B	For those with background in Chinese Mandarin  
			(Refresher/Review Class)
			May 3-24  (Monday to Friday)
			Time:  1:30-3:00 PM
			Ateneo de Manila University
