[Blueboard] ANNOUNCEMENT OF GRANT FROM THE JAPAN INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS (JIIA)

The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) is now accepting applications for 2003 JIIA Fellowship. This Fellowship Program is a research and intellectual exchange program for young scholars in the field of international affairs.
- Applicants must be at least Master degree holders/Ph.D. candidates or the equivalent.
- Applicants must be no more than 45 years of age.
- Fellows are expected to have a wide range of views on international affairs and to be highly motivated to conduct research activities at JIIA. Applicants need to have a concrete research subject in the field of internationl affairs and the ability to write their reports in English or Japanese.
The principal research themes for this program should be on the following:
- International Politics
- Foreign Policy
- Security Issues
- International Relations
- International or Development Economics
