NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM

Effective School Year 2002-2003, all freshmen are required to enroll in a 
NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM, which shall consist of the following service 
components:

(1) The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), which is made optional and 
voluntary upon the effectivity of the NSTP Act;
(2) The Literacy Training Service; and
(3) The Civic Welfare Training Service
Students, male and female shall be required to complete one of the above NSTP 
components for an academic period of two semesters (3 units per semester).


The ROTC option will be jointly supervised by the Office of Academic Affairs 
and the ADAST(Ateneo Department of Air Science and Tactics).. The Literacy 
Training Service and the Civic Welfare Training Service components will be 
jointly supervised by the Office of Student Affairs and the OSCI. 

Sophomores, juniors and seniors who have completed Four or Three or Two 
semesters of CMT (Regular or Expanded) have COMPLIED  with the NSTP requirement.

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have completed ONLY One semester of CMT 
have to take one more semester of NSTP (any of the three options).

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have not taken CMT11 and CMT12 MUST ENROL 
in two semesters of NSTP. The three units per semester will be considered as 
OVERLOAD for each semester.
