TROPICAL DEPRESSION JUAN IS NOW APPRPOACHING THE
NORTHEASTERN COAST OF SAMAR AS IT HEADS TOWARDS
THE ISLAND OF CATANDUANES IN THE BICOL REGION.

THE CENTER IS FORECAST TO PASS VERY CLOSE TO CATANDUANES
TOMORROW MORNING, JULY 20TH, AROUND 8AM LOCAL TIME
(00 UTC).

Tropical Depression JUAN is forecast to be at 180 kms north of Catarman,
Northern Samar or 200 kms east of Daet, Camarines Norte by tomorrow
morning. By Sunday morning, it will be at 210 kms north northeast of
Daet, Camarines Norte or 150 kms east southeast of Casiguran, Aurora
and by Monday morning it will be at 200 kms north northeast of Casiguran,
Aurora or at 80 kms east southeast of Aparri, Cagayan.

Tropical Depression JUAN will enhance the southwest monsoon and bring
occasional rains and isolated thunderstorms over Central and Southern Luzon
and rest of Visayas. Residents in low-lying areas are advised to be alert
against
possible floodings and landslides.
