CERTIFICATE IN PERFORMANCE AND REWARDS MANAGEMENT 
July 17-19, 25-26, 31-Aug. 2, 2002

An eight-day workshop designed to provide HR professionals with the skills in 
designing and implementing a Strategic Performance and Rewards Management 
Program in their respective organizations.

Module I: Determining the Organizational Anchors of PRM
This introductory module presents a strategic perspective of Human Resource 
Management focusing on the importance of reviewing the company’s mission and 
vision as a first step to any organizational intervention. Learners will also 
be taught how to use the balanced scorecard - an analysis technique designed to 
translate mission and business strategies into quantifiable goals. Participants 
will also learn the skill of identifying core competencies as bases for 
developing an effective PMS geared towards employee development company growth. 


Module II: Performance Management 
The next segment covers three phases in a Performance Management System: 

Performance Planning – learners will be guided to come up with specific 
performance targets based on a particular job description or role profile; 

Performance Evaluation – participants will be presented with different methods 
of assessing performance and their respective biases and pitfalls;

Employee Coaching – through role-playing, this section will equip participants 
with skills in active listening to aid them in conducting an effective 
performance review. 

At the end of this module, participants are expected to design a Performance 
Management System for their organization.


Module III: Rewards Management
Learners will be exposed to the different traditional and non-traditional kinds 
of rewards systems which will aid them in formulating the most suitable rewards 
scheme for their organization. At the end of this module, participants are 
expected to present a proposed Reward System for their organization.


Cost:	    P20,000 for corporate clients 
            P18,000 for government, academe & non-profit organizations

Discounts:  5% early bird discount (deposits made 2 wks before training) 	
            10% discount for every program attended within the calendar year 
            10% corporate discount for every third person sent to the program

            NOTE: Program fees include participant materials, lunch and snacks.
