POWER: Outage in the college, SDC and ISO complex:
Date: Sunday, 21 April
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Reason: To connect the PLDT CTC and JGSOM transformers
Outage in Bellarmine Hall, JR, EAPI, High School and Moro Lorenzo
Date and Time: 8:00 a.m. Sunday, 27 to 4:00 a.m. Sunday, 28
Reason: To connect the transformers of the Church of
COMMUNICATION: The shift from @admu.edu.ph to @Ateneo.edu domain scheduled
this April has been postponed. There are still a number of details to be
Memorandum Circular 04-02-2002 issued by the NTC last 11 February 2002,
mandating that telephone numbers use eight digits. The directive has been
suspended until further notice according to PLDT.
WATER: Manila Water Company (MWC) submitted last week the corrected bill
for March and April 2002. The bills for October 2001 to February 2002 were
based on the average consumption as MWC's computer broke down. What MWC
submitted last week would be clarified in a meeting that is scheduled with
them tomorrow morning.
The water line of the PLDT CTC and JGSOM buildings will be connected to the
SEC cistern by the end of the month. Laying of the pipes will start tomorrow.
SECURITY: The number of construction workers on campus varies from 800 to
1200 a day. This number may increase as more projects start this summer.
Campus security is strictly implementing the uniform and ID requirement for
construction personnel. Construction personnel who do not comply will be
asked to leave the campus.
To keep fit, the security guards and employees from other service units on
campus are organizing an Ateneo Inter-service basketball league - 2002.
The games will be held after work hours from 21 April to 2 June.
Ms. Marite Senit and Mr. Arwin Alejar, Diars maintenance personnel at
APS-Rockwell are commended for returning a mobile phone and a wallet
containing P5,660.00 that were found in Room 209 last 11 April 2002.
PARKING: Forty-seven cars were parked at the newly opened LHS/LST carpark
beside the tricycle terminal during the LHS ordination last Saturday. Cars
no longer park along Seminary Drive.
TRAFFIC Project Blue Sky and the 2002-2003 gate pass stickers will be
issued starting today, 15 April 2002 near the Security Office at the Blue
Eagle Gym. Exhaust emission tests for both diesel and gasoline engines
will be at the Southwest carpark (opposite the pedestrian overpass). This
year's gate pass stickers celebrates the 50th year of the Loyola Heights
The procedure for the vehicle emission test is:
1. Proceed to the Security Office at the Blue Eagle Gym.
2. Get two copies of the Emission Testing and Sticker Application forms,
then pay the emission testing and sticker fees and get receipts.
3. Fill up application forms.
4. Prepare a photocopy of your current LTO certificate of registration.
5. Proceed to the parking area (near the pedestrian overpass) for the

M-F: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - no noon break
Sat.: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
