GET TO KNOW DR. BLAINE LEE:
Blaine Lee, Ph.D., is a vice president of Franklin Covey, the worlds premier
time management and leadership development authority. He has been a
contributing author to books by Stephen R. Covey and Norman Vincent Peale. His
own book, The Power Principle: Influence with Honor was published by Simon &
Schuster in May of 1997.
Dr. Lee believes you were born to succeed in your work and in your life, and
has committed himself to helping those who desire the best in themselves and
those they serve. Since 1971, he has created and conducted training and
development programs throughout the United States and Europe to help thousand
of leaders become their best, personally and professionally.
Dr. Lees teaching takes him over a third of a million miles annually as he
shares his warm, caring approach to help others succeed. His ability to deal
perceptively with difficult organizational and people problems has made him a
unique advisor to senior executives in many kinds of organizations. A
trainers trainer, he is called a "Life Coach" by leaders who claim he helps
them do with their lives what athletic coaches can do with their muscles.
As principal for a private residential high school for delinquent teenagers,
Dr. Lee learned how to help others grow as they deal with tough emotional and
behavioral problems. As a scoutmaster and choral director, he learned the
subtle challenges and joys of volunteer leadership. From his own family, he
learned how hard it is to practice what you teach. And as director of
instructional systems development for the entire Air Force as a young captain,
he learned how to manage training and development systems to increase
productivity while saving millions in taxpayer dollars.
When he is not with clients, he is a deliberate dad at home with his family in
a small community in the Rocky Mountains near Salt Lake City, Utah.
