This is to announce the holding of the AGILA WORKSHOP SERIES for the 2nd
semester of SY 2001-2002:

1. Workshop on Building AGILA 2 (Second Beowulf Cluster of the Ateneo)
   Every Monday and Friday, 4:30 - 6:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 - 12 noon at
   SEC A304 (High Performance Computing and Networking Laboratory).

   First Meeting starts this coming Monday, Nov. 26, 2001 at 4:30 pm.

2. AGILA Orientation Workshop (for those without background in cluster
computing and Beowulf Clusters and Linux). Tentatively set in January

3. AGILA Users Workshop (for those who are using the AGILA and intend to
use the AGILA for research activities). Tntatively set in February 2002.

Please e-mail me if you are interested to join any one of these workshops.
There is no registration fee for faculty members of the SSE.



P.S. The AGILA refers to the Ateneo High Performance Computing System (or
a supercomputer) built by the Ateneo High Performance Computing Group. It
is a Beowulf cluster constructed from high-speed PCs.
